Hijama, also known as wet cupping, is an ancient form of therapy with a rich history dating back over 6,000 years. It has been practiced by many cultures throughout history and was a treatment embraced by most of the Prophets in Islam, making it a highly respected and spiritually significant practice within the Muslim world.
Today, Hijama continues to gain recognition worldwide. Scientific studies have shown clear evidence that wet cupping therapy can aid in detoxification, improve circulation, and relieve pain and inflammation. However, it’s important to note that while the benefits are proven, the exact mechanism of action is still under study and not yet fully understood by modern science.
I am a qualified practitioner with over 10 years of experience, and I am currently pursuing a Bachelor of Anatomy and Physiology. This academic background gives me a deep understanding of how the body works, allowing me to provide tailored, effective treatments that bridge the gap between traditional healing and modern anatomical knowledge.
I specialise in the Islamic Hijama method as practiced by the Ahlulbayt (AS), while also offering treatments for general non-religious health purposes. Each session is personalised and performed using my unique style of treatment, which preserves the authentic Islamic methodology while incorporating real-time physiological monitoring such as heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen saturation. This ensures each treatment is not only spiritually grounded but also safely monitored for optimal health outcomes.
All equipment used is strictly sterile and single-use, in line with modern health and safety standards. For best results, Hijama is ideally performed 1 to 2 days after massage therapy, when the muscles are relaxed and circulation is optimal. To maintain health and safety, I recommend a minimum gap of 10–12 weeks between treatments, allowing the body time to fully replenish blood cells and recover.
Whether you’re seeking relief from physical discomfort, looking to detoxify your system, or simply want to follow a prophetic tradition, I’m here to guide you through a safe and effective Hijama experience.
